Tori Amos

An artist who has a wide and very colourful music pallet. Tori Amos is a piano player and Wikipedia states that she plays: piano rock, alternative rock, art pop, electronica, classical and baroque pop. That is quite a hand full and Tori has been able to embellish this by putting some splendid vocal work on her songs. (And her vocal work reminds me of a certain Kate Bush.) She has started to perform since 1979 and has shown the world since then the she rightfully deserves a place in musical history and therefor also here at MWQ. Tori has not only recorded solo albums but has also released an album with her first band Y Kant Tori Read (with a very young Matt Sorum on drums) and has contributed to the soundtracks of a number of movies.
