Radio
I am a huge fan of the radio. So here are some radio stations I'd like to listen to. Check them out and if a postal code is requested use this one: SW16 5NW.
Radio XFM from London
Local, national and international news is presented and the music is mainly Indie music but that doesn't mean that you won't hear anything else. I like the dynamic of this radio.
Splash FM
A local radio station based in Worthing. You get local news and local ads. The music style is a collection of tracks from 1965 - 1970 up to today. They call themselves the "Feel good station" and I think that they are right on the mark.
Jazz FM
The music is a mixture of jazz, blues, soul and a lot of "free styling" mixes of these. Great background listening.
Gold Radio
This station plays the "oldies". From the Beatles to Diana Ross, the Who, The Jam basically all the tracks that have appeared in the top 40 at some time but are at least, let's say ten years or older. Great if you are thinking back of the days when...
Planet Rock
This radio station plays the rock classics. Hair metal, hard rock etc. Presentation of music by (among others) : Alice Cooper, Joe Elliott, Fish and many more.
BBC
A collection of radio's together. I appreciate the musical documentaries that they do. The BBC is such a great institution. You could say that it's a bit old fashioned and I guess you may have a point but still, it would be impossible not to find something you like.
Smooth Radio
I always have the impression that on this radio station it's permanently Sunday. And I (and some others I'm sure) can do with a bit of Sunday in the middle of the week. Nice, laid back music.
Soma FM
A collection of different radio styles from San Francisco. Take your pick.
Hed Kandi
The radio from the CD series of Hed Kandi. The only music you will hear is ... yep you got it; Hed Kandi.
Radio Caroline
This is a radio that will be remembered by the more experienced radio listeners as a replacement for Radio Veronica and Radio Mi Amigo. A bit nostalgic, perhaps but the music is good and they still have some of these wonderful old fashioned jingles.
There are many other radio stations but what I like with these ones in particular is that they sound friendly. These radios are here to please you and give you this: "You are not alone" feeling. The same reason why I have put up this site. Have a good time!!!
