Compilation
This is for people who have an eclectic taste in music. Here you can listen to a mixture of top 40 - classical - rock - punk - soul - variety and etc. You also may find original compilation albums. I hope you like this as a sort of back ground music. Enjoy.
Compilation no 1 This is a collection of songs that touches very different styles. Sixties, metal, disco it's all there. Some classic tracks are in this list. Enjoy. (Over all ambiance: Calm-ish)
Compilation no 2 This is a collection of songs that will enable you to listen to some great soul tracks as well as some fantastic rock and pop songs. Enjoy. (Over all ambiance: Calm-ish)
Compilation no 3 This is a collection of songs that cover disco, sixties, pop and hard rock. Again some tracks from yester year that deserve to be heard. Enjoy. (Over all ambiance: Energetic-ish)
Compilation no 4
This is a collection of songs from the eighties and just from the eighties. This was in the top 40 in those days. (I'm still not a huge fan.) Some songs are still making me a bit sick but other songs have matured like a good wine. Great, but I'm more a beer guy. For the eighties fans (And I know there are a few out there) I'm pretty sure you feel at home here.
(Over all ambiance: Old fashioned eighties disco except here and there...)

Compilation no 5
This collection of songs stretches a bit further than the previous ones. It has some great old fashioned disco tracks and also some brilliant sixties work but modern rock is presented as well as some sounds of the nineties and yes, yes, even later. There are also songs that deserve greater exposure so here you go. Have a good eclectic time. (Over all ambiance: Energetic-ish)
Compilation no 6 This is a collection of country songs, most of them have been created between 1990 and 2010 but there are a few exceptions. You may hear different influences as rap, rock, rhythm and blues etc. Some of the tracks are there because I thought the lyrics deserved to be heard more. Welcome to Yeahaw-Land. Enjoy. (Ambiance - Country, rock, ballad & crooning.)
Compilation no 7 This is a collection of disco music from the seventies. There are no artificial sounds here. Everything is played by hand and sung by real people without Auto-Tune. This kind of music isn't made anymore. I think that one of the last people to make this kind of music entirely by hand was Jamiroquai. (I'm not saying that all his music was made entirely by hand and you may correct me if I'm wrong). It's a shame but that is "progress" shall we say. So if you feel nostalgic or want to know the source of your clubbing music today, this is it. (Ambiance - old fashioned disco).
Compilation no 8 Open top cars and girls in T-shirts. This is the first album and if my research is right, there are three in the series but I have never, ever found a trace of album number two. (Over all ambiance: Calm-ish)
Compilation no 9 40 Golden Hits - Arcade This (double) album (then) presents some music from the fifties to the sixties to the beginning seventies. (Over all ambiance: Calm-ish with some nostalgia...)
Compilation no 10 1950 to 1959 music This collection of songs is exactly as the title says. The order of the songs is chronological, starting from 1950 and going to 1959, almost month by month. All the songs have been on the number one spot and oddly enough, sometimes more than once in the same year. You will discover that the first tracks are heavily jazz and chamber music influenced (very crooner and all) and the more and more we go to 1959 the more and more the influence of the new phenomenon of rock and roll, or perhaps I should say, rockabilly rears its head. The quality of the recordings gets also better and louder. (Over all ambiance: Crooner/ rockabilly-ish)
Compilation no 11 Soul Music This is a collection of soul music and only that. This is the sound of romance and being in love, the sweetest feelings and that sort of things. You will find many well known artists and you may even recognise a song or two. If you want to have a nice time to relax or create a romantic atmosphere, this will help you. Open the wine and lay down in front of the fire... (Ambiance - Very calm, romantic).

Compilation no 12 Babies & Toddlers This is a collection of five playlists for babies and toddlers. You will find three playlists with lullabies for babies. Wonderful to fall asleep with and surprisingly pleasant for the parents to listen to as well. There is a collection of songs from the Wiggles and there is a collection of typical children songs, sung by children with your classics like Old MacDonald, The Muffin man, Pop goes the weasel etc. (Ambiance - Very calm towards childish and playful.)
Compilation no 13 Christmas Music
I have picked out four Christmas albums. They are from Frank Sinatra, Bing Crosby, the Carpenters and Elvis Presley. On purpose I did not chose anything modern. (perhaps I'll do that another year) I remember when I was a little boy that these songs were what I heard on the radio and it made me realise that Christmas for adults is something that will take them back to when they were little, especially when they are celebrating the holidays with their family, including grand parents and grand children. These Christmas albums get me in the Christmas spirit. I fancy eggnog, cake, speculaas, chocolate and the smell of something for a great late lunch/early dinner in the oven. Merry Christmas to you all.
Compilation no 14 Gregorian Chant I was just curious when I saw this. So I started listening. I found out that I like it. This is nice and calming. The amalgam of sounds is a positive one. This is a very nice way to start to explore some choir work. Gregorian chant in this way enables you to get acquainted with the vocal style. You will also recognise some melodies. Some of the song choices surprised me but are at the same time interesting enough to listen to. This version of Stairway to heaven for example (No, it is not improving it.) would be great to hear in a church. Brothers in arms is also a very creative rendition of the original. The guitar sound (if it is a guitar at all???) is sometimes a bit too plastic but the overall ambiance is nice and pleasant. Great, calming background music. Enjoy...
Compilation no 15 This compilation is again a mixture of all styles and ages, the seventies are well presented but you will also find tracks from other eras. The styles are rock, disco, techno, soul and everything that has evolved from that. (Ambiance - Very diverse-ish but not too calm.)
Compilation no 16 I had to do it of course. In every music collection, you have to have bits and bobs of classical music. So here is a compilation of the most popular/known pieces of classical music. (Over all ambiance - Classical Music)
Compilation no 17 Grand Theft Auto: Vice City Official Soundtrack Box Set. A collection of seven albums, each album is representing a radio station that you can listen to while being in a car, when you play the game. A great collection of tracks. (Ambiance - Eclectic and diverse.)
Compilation no 18 Jazz. I discovered and admired this music from "a while back". It is great to hear the musicians and vocalists from those times and feel how intense and serious they lived their music. What a wonderful riffs and hooks are there to discover and appreciate and these ambiances of sadness mixed with melancholy and romance are from time to time, just what you need. I hope you will enjoy this jazz collection... (Ambiance - fairly calm jazz.)
Compilation no 19 Open Top Cars & Girls In T-Shirts. This is the third album of Open top cars and girls in t-shirts. A nice, eclectic collection of songs. Great to listen to in the car but also at home while chilling or doing chores. Enjoy... (Over all ambiance: Calm-ish.)
Compilation no 20 This is a collection of tracks from the duo Felix Burton and Simon Ratcliffe aka Basement Jaxx. They are performed by the Metropole Orkest. (Over all ambiance - Classic-ish)
