This band plays rock and pop music. And they have done so in the most friendliest and beautiful way. The vocals of Paul Heaton and three different female vocals are pure pleasure to listen to. The sound is very distinctive and I would call this a classic example of British pop music. The Beautiful South is a band that brings pleasure to your ears at times that you want to listen to music without complications nor difficult structures or technical, high speed, instrument touching.
