Jeff Beck

This is something for everybody who loves guitar music; Jeff Beck is a household name. Jeff Beck started to make a name when he was asked to play with the Yardbirds in 1964. Starting out with blues rock, jazz fusion and hard rock, Jeff Beck has played all sort of music styles and has at the same time always been able to put  originality and craftsmanship into it. Jeff Beck has played on albums and worked with the likes of Mick Jagger, Kate Bush, Roger Waters, Jimmy Page and Stevie Wonder to name a few. Evidently this shows the wide range of musical colours this man can put out of his guitar. For me he is a sort of mix between Steve Vai and Joe Satriani, what I mean with that is that Jeff Beck is not only a guitar "shredder" like Satriani can be but is also a searcher for a "new sound" like Steve Vai. At the same time he got his own distinctive style and sound and that makes him truly a guitar legend and hero.
