De La Soul

This is hip hop at it's finest. De La Soul was one of the earlier rap groups that brought rap music to the big public. They have sold more than 20 million albums and are an inspiration for a large number of other hip hop influenced bands. The samples used by De La Soul were sometimes taken from well known songs, created by international renowned artists or bands. Evidently this has not always been appreciated. De La Soul is now considered as old school and be that as it may, I still think that from time to time modern rap artists can take a leaf from their book as they have set a standard and language ethic that can be an example for many. This is happy go lucky music that makes you want to move and shake your booty. This is insult free and violence is not a subject of admiration. So I don't need to say more than simply... enjoy!!!
