Crystal Method

The Crystal Method makes alternative dance music. They use samples, computers and digital analog synthesizers. The music they create is strongly rhythm based, I mean even the melody has often a rhythm pulse and gets than even more pushed and stimulated by the drum and bass sounds. The tracks themselves are not always fast but they have an over all pompous kind of feel and that makes that when the songs aren't very filled up, sample wise, theystill have this majestic and powerful presence. This duo has made songs that are wonderful collections and collages of sounds and than brilliantly layered and mixed. Fabulous music to discover and relive again and again.
