Ayo is a musician playing piano, guitar and she sings too. She has created a unique blend of soul, reggae and folk music. It's like you are listening to a younger and a more diverse version of Tracy Chapman. Vocal wise she could be a little stronger as her voice does not show much power but this is a very minor detail when you listen to the ensemble of her works. The structure of the songs are very entertaining and the reggae songs with their folk music approach are actually refreshing and they sound original.
