Lita Ford

Lita Ford is a guitarist who played in the seventies with the Runaways. After the Runaways she has released several solo albums. Her music style is heavy metal and hard rock. She has a great voice and her way of playing the guitar is full of speed and exposes great virtuosity. Unfortunately that her solo career started in the eighties so you have some songs where you are stuck with the hard rock/pop sound of the eighties. It's almost a cheap copy of Heart. Her later albums however have a much more grittier sound as do the vocals and the overall speed of the tracks has risen as well.
