Mott The Hoople

As this band has helped to grow rock music and expand it's horizons to hell and beyond, this band deserves a place with MWQ. This band was in the thick of the Glam Rock period and has made a few tracks that have become anthems. (A little help from David Bowie was appreciated, of course.) This band however was the predecessor of bands like the Sweet or Mud. The speed of the rock music of Mott the Hoople  wasn't fast but this was where the musical direction would take it's way towards melodical rock music or pop music with a distortioned guitar sound. (Slade for example.) This is also happy go lucky back ground music. A part of musical history that is always nice to (re-) discover or have on in the background while doing some chores. Enjoy...
