This band has shown how progressive rock is supposed to be made. This is a band that needs listening to and while you listen, you can't really do something else. The music of Yes requires attention and focus. The structures and passages within the songs are too intense and too beautiful to miss out on while doing the dishes or making the beds. The harmonies are simply fantastic, the instrumental setting is rich and sometimes downright complicated. The changes between fast and slow rhythms are quick and very diverse. (Awesome drumming, really). The vocals are fitting in perfectly, they are woven into the music. This is without any doubt a band of which you have to have at least one album if you want to say that you are a music lover. An absolute must!!! Enjoy.
