The music of Reba McEntire is country music influenced by pop, soul and R&B. When you hear her voice you know that you will be listening to country music. Reba is one of those rare artists who doesn't need to have approval from the press in order to see that her records are sold. It has happened that the press gave negative reviews of an album and yet that same album became platinum. (The album is called Starting Over). It shows you that in the end it's your public that decides if you are successful or not. Reba's music isn't exactly innovative or groundbreaking but it's nice to hear and with more than seventy million albums sold, well, what do I have to say other than... Enjoy her music.
