Uriah Heep

Uriah Heep was a band that had a massive influence of the sound of the seventies. Their songs have it all, the wonderful keyboards, the vocals, the great guitar sounds and a fantastic rhythm section. This is however not what I would consider as "hard" rock or heavier. The term progressive rock is well used here. Well, besides the terminology this band is very pleasant to listen to as their music has, at the same time, the ability to keep you alert and makes you wonder what comes next. The rhythm section and the melodies kind of fill your hearing space without being and/or getting annoying and that is something that other progressive rock bands often miss out on. This is nice background music but if you want to have a good and intense listen to it, you will get away with some great tunes, that are a satisfaction for your ears. Enjoy this compilation...
