Marlena Shaw

You can always invite me to come and see this wonderful artist sing. Her music is used for movies and ads etc. I love the voice, the musical setting and it is simply a great way of showing how soul music is to be made. Marlena Shaw is an artist who never made it big commercially and I think that is just down to a management that isn't making big enough waves. This is  classic soul music and deserves to be way more appreciated. The entire musical setting is there to push the voice more forward, many a modern artists could take some time and listen to this to learn some tricks of the trade. Enjoy...
