Huey Lewis and The News

A rock band that scored hits throughout the eighties. We're talking simply straight forward music here. The influences are blues, rock and some soul. Huey Lewis and The News have not created a new music style or sound or anything though I have to admit they do have their own sound. The typical voice of Mr Lewis is evidently fairly important to that. One of their songs figured in an incredible successful movie did help to propel them firmly in the lime light as well.
