The smooth, movin' and groovin' sound of Mr. Bootsy Collins. If there is anybody who deserves to be named as an influential bass player it is him. Funk and groove are the two bass-ics that BC has amplified and scattered all over the world. A short (eleven months) experience with James Brown resulted in a richer sound. Bootsy Collins is one of the bass players that has this "juicy" sound. Nothing hard per se but a sound that "gels" everything, musically together.
