Gabrielle

This is my Modern Soul Lady. She has given soul music a little touch that takes it out of the Aretha Franklin style and into today but not with so much throat vibrations and hiccups. (I hate that way of singing, I'm just unable to find the beauty in it). Gabrielle uses samples, computers etc to record,yet her music doesn't sound like plastic (Rihana springs to mind... again, sorry.) It feels alive, pure human emotion comes through and I think that is something that is not enough treasured these days. Enjoy her work...
