Ike and Tina Turner

Now that combination was musical dynamite. (And you can't play with dynamite without getting a boo-boo.)  Now we all know about the divorce, the drug abuse, the guns, the violence and a lot of other things that did not have anything to do with music. In the beginning however, Ike and Tina Turner, created this soul/rhythm 'n blues sound that was theirs only. A very distinctive sound and that was to make musical history. There simply wasn't anything like it and they have filled that space brilliantly. Enjoy their music.
