Marillion makes me think about minstrels and troubadours with a sort of modern evolution mixed in. A bit like the movie Treasure Planet from Walt Disney. (We are talking about the first four albums, the rest I wouldn't know). Progressive rock, superbly crafted with delightfully fresh and subtle structures and sounds. Musical story telling is what jumps to mind. Have a listen for yourself...

Maybe it's time for a 'Marillion part II ?" Trust me, a lot of Marillion songs after these first four albums are amazing. Check the 'Gaza' track from their latest 'Sounds that can't be made' album...
