Black Sabbath

This band is known for being the first band to play heavy metal. Black Sabbath has as no other group paved the way in heavy and dark music. There are no rock artists of today that are not familiar with their work. In a way the heavy metal of today would not have had the same sounds and aggressiveness without them. It is not the most easiest music to listen to but once you have gotten used to the structures and dark sounds it is well worth it.
