Mötley Crüe

A classic band Mötley Crüe. And great make-up. And the hairdo wasn't bad either.  I always had (still do actually) the impression that this band had a look that made more noise than their music. I don't know why but this compared to Guns N' Roses, well I say Guns N' Roses would kick their butt while having breakfast. The sound of Mötley Crüe always has been too polished for me. There's no "grit", no "grunch", it's not dirty enough. It's like listening to polystyrene rock. You can shape it into everything, you can paint it in every color but it will always squeek. (Be honest, on a scale of 1 to 3,  3 being the greatest rock sound and 1 being nicer than Abba, how high would you rate: Smoking in the boys room? I mean come on, there are Abba tracks that are wilder than that.) Never the less, Mötley Crüe has made it on this site because after all they have pleased the masses and that's what it's all about.  Cheers.
