Guns N' Roses

This is a band that unfortunately flew too high and burned it's wings. Guns N' Roses made history with their Appetite for Destruction and the Illusion I + II albums. Hard rock with punk influences ( the bass player is no stranger to that) or melodic ballads with the "killer" guitar solo's of Slash.This band was responsible for turning hard-rock into harder and meaner rock. This band wasn't there to make fun, this band was there to kick ass. And they did, and probably in the process they may have kicked their own butt slightly too hard as well. It was all over in 1997 or is it... Axl Rose has "continued" Guns N' Roses. With different musicians but the album Chinese Democracy has a good sound. Just a shame it took so long to make it.
